PolyIon 909 is Polacrilin Potassium USP/NF, which provides rapid disintegration due to its extremely high swelling and wicking capacity. Due to its high swelling index at low usage level, it bursts the tablets into fine particles. The swelling capacity is 800 to 1000%, and works as a Super Disintegrant.
