Dietary Plant Fibers

 

J. Rettenmaier’s functional dietary plant fibers are produced from top-quality fruit, vegetable, and cereal raw materials. They serve both nutritional-physiological tasks and the functional requirements of the food industry. 

 

The product series includes apple fiber, oat fiber, grain fiber, psyllium/flea seed, potato fiber, pea fiber, raw fiber, and citrus fiber concentrates in various specifications, each perfectly adapted to a wide range of application requirements.

  • Oat Fiber and Organic Oat Fiber - insoluble dietary fiber concentrate from gently processed oat hulls

    Wheat Fiber - insoluble wheat stem fiber sustainably processed from local sources

    Sugarcane Fiber - insoluble dietary fiber concentrate from sugarcane

    Rice Fiber - insoluble dietary fiber concentrate with very low ash content processed from rice hulls

    Bamboo Fiber - insoluble dietary fiber concentrate from bamboo

    Pea Fiber - bright colored natural dietary fiber gently processed from the inner of destarched yellow peas

    Potato Fiber - natural fiber with well-balanced dietary fiber composition gently processed from destarched potatoes

    Psyllium Fiber - mainly soluble, natural dietary fiber manufactured from highly controlled and heat treated psyllium seed husks with outstanding swelling properties

    Apple Fiber - natural dietary fiber gently recovered from dried apple pomace

    Bran and Wheat Germ - bran/wheat germ, separated during the cereal grain milling process, is heat treated to minimize enzyme and microbial activity
